I lost my bestfriend 9 years ago yesterday, so this read really hit home. Every year it’s “thinking of you!” and I’m all “this day fucking sucks!!!!!”, and I just need a “it does fucking suck!!!!” in return, so what I’m saying is, I get it, and it effing sucks! Anywho, i look forward to your posts every week. I would read your grocery lists 💕
I really enjoyed this and thank you so much for sharing! I myself have a 7 month old and juggling everything is so tough. Hang in there. Just because you have a bad hour or day or anything doesn’t make you a bad mom or an uncool mom - it just means you’re a person who has feelings and they can’t all be positive all the freaking time. Your children will love you no matter what. They will smile at you because you are their person. I can’t begin to imagine the grief you feel without your mom here, but miss her, talk about her, ask her questions, and she will find a way to respond to you in her own way. Life is never as black and white as we sometimes want it to be as perfectionists, but living in the grey, the uncomfortable, is how we learn about ourselves. Keep it coming and I can’t wait to keep reading ♥️
Really loved this. And as the mother to a toddler who just infected the entire family with a stomach bug (and visiting grandparents) good luck, Godspeed, see ya on the other side x
